CHICAGO, October 29, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Katten announced today that a dozen attorneys were honored at the Katten Pro Bono Service Awards ceremonies held at the firm’s offices The United States and in the London affiliated office during this month’s National Celebration of Pro Bono, in recognition of her outstanding pro bono services and her consistent commitment to using her legal skills on behalf of those in need.

This year’s Pro Bono Service Awards recipients, each a $1,000 Fee for a donation to a charity that has provided a range of services, some of which include:

- Britt R. DeVaneyemployees, litigation, Chicago, who worked on a series of asylum cases, argued before the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, and secured asylum for a refugee mother and daughter Honduras.
- Trevor T Garmeyemployees, litigation, los Angeles, who has represented numerous clients on United States citizenship and immigration petitions, from O1-A petitions and asylum claims to assisting a client in overturning a decision the client was inadmissible The United States.
