
- According to a notification of adaptation and retraining of workers, Walmart Inc WMT intends to lay off 1,458 employees at its Fulton Parkway e-commerce fulfillment center in Atlanta, Georgia.

- The transformation of the Atlanta facility is part of Walmart’s plan to modernize and build more high-tech warehouses.
