
An online study by Realm of Caringa non-profit cannabis advocacy group, and researchers at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine found that “medicinal cannabis use can improve the quality of life for those who have been unable to break free from traditional methods.”
Study results published in Frontiers in pharmacologyshowed that medicinal cannabis helped alleviate various neurological disorders and pain-related conditions that affected the participants.

Method: Study participants who used medicinal cannabis were invited to take part in anonymous surveys to provide feedback on their experiences. “Of the 808 study participants, 77% reported positive effects – with 28% citing less pain, 18% improved sleep and 22% a reduction in anxiety.
“This study highlights several concerns that we are actively addressing, such as: providing information to the medical community, partnerships with quality product companies for more affordable options, and free one-on-one support to help alleviate unwanted side effects. Realm of Caring will continue to collect and publish data to ensure we are fulfilling our mission.” Kalcheff grain added.
Study participants also described many of the problems As medical cannabis patients, they face the challenge of finding appropriate providers who understand how cannabis is dosed, which strains are most helpful in alleviating certain ailments, and which consumption methods best suit their treatment plan.
“In terms of patient concerns, commonly reported issues included a lack of information for medicinal cannabis support (with 16% of participants citing this concern) and 12% citing prohibitive costs as an additional concern,” reads a press release.
