Cloud Service Providers HostColor.com (HC) Cloud announced an expansion of its network with 20 Gbps connectivity to the Detroit Internet Exchange (DET-IX). HC starts Open Peering on DET-IX in the 3approx September week 2022.
Analysis conducted by HostColor’s NOC indicates that the company’s network with DET-IX connectivity will experience lower latency to the Upper Midwest, Northeastern United States and Eastern Canada. HostColor already offers Dedicated servers in Detroit, Michigan and will add new service offerings to its premises Dedicated hosting portfolio.

HostColor (HC) recently announced Dedicated Cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (DCIaaS) across 14 major US metro markets. DCIaaS can be used by organizations to deploy custom, standards-based private, public, and hybrid technology infrastructures. HC’s dedicated cloud services are based on the enterprise virtualization technologies Proxmox, VMware ESXi and Linux Containers (LXC).
HostColor’s bespoke DCIaaS plans come with a fixed monthly cost that doesn’t increase based on resource usage. Cloud services users pay a flat monthly fee for a certain amount of dedicated computing resources – processor (CPU), random access memory (RAM) and data storage (SSD, NMVe or HDD) and a certain quota of bandwidth on a 1 gigabit or 10 gigabit -Internet connection.
