SEATTLE, September 16, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Horizon Air’s more than 700 pilots, represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT), have voted to ratify a new agreement aimed at supporting the company’s pilots and retaining talent as mainline carriers continue to hire pilots from regional carriers at record levels. The agreement includes important salary increases and pension improvements. Other improvements include commuter policies and teacher benefits.
More than 91% of the Horizon pilots voted and the agreement was approved by 99%.
A preliminary agreement was reached with the IBT 2 Sept and will come into force immediately with today’s ratification.
