Italian luxury automaker Ferrari on Tuesday raised its financial targets for the year after reporting record second-quarter orders.
According to a statement, the cult company delivered a total of 3,455 cars worldwide in the second three months of 2022, 28.7 percent more than in the previous year.
“The quality of the first six months and the robustness of our business enable us to revise the forecast for 2022 upwards in all key figures,” said CEO Benedetto Vigna.
“Net orders also reached a new record high in the quarter.”
Revenue rose 24.9 percent to 1.29 billion euros ($1.3 billion), while net income rose 22 percent to 251 million euros.
For 2022, the group is targeting sales of 4.9 billion euros, compared to 4.8 billion before.
