“Systems are everything”
Brett Caldwell, operations manager of seven Keller Williams franchises based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and MAPS leadership coach, knew he wanted to try Cyberbacker after hearing top producers talk about their success with the company. Though Caldwell had never worked with a virtual assistant, his experience during the pandemic “opened up the possibility.” Caldwell says he realized, “Hey, you don’t have to be sitting next to me to be highly productive.”
While the transition to working with Cyberbacker was smooth, Caldwell said he needed to take a focused look at the systems in place. “Systems are the recipe for leveraged success,” says Caldwell. “You have to hold the company accountable.”
Innovative virtual leverage
Caldwell comments on the simplicity of the hiring process for cyberbackers. Cyberbacker did all the screening and recruitment and “brought three candidates to the table for me to interview,” says Caldwell. “The hardest part was that I liked all three.”
Though Caldwell thought all candidates qualified, he eventually chose his cyberbacker Steven for unconventional reasons. “He was excited to learn it,” says Caldwell. Additionally, he felt that Steven’s familiarity with the digital world as a video game lover indicated his ability for virtual work. “In a virtual lever world, I need innovation,” says Caldwell. Fortunately, what Caldwell predicted has come to pass.
