More than $3 million in unpaid minimum wages were assessed against employers by state labor officials in 2012, an increase of 462 percent over assessments in 2010.
Over $13 million in unpaid overtime wages were assessed in 2012 — an increase of 642 percent from 2010, according to a report by the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement.
