As social media becomes a way of life for many people, it has also become a presence in the workplace, prompting many employers to draft social media policies. But, if employers aren’t careful they could be violating employees’ rights. Workers also need to be mindful that what they say on these sites may not always be protected. In the end, it’s best if all work discussions are kept face to face instead of on a public forum, to ensure everyone is protected.
