Hlava Teaches You How to Deal With IT Through Email

Sept. 24, 2010 — Dealing with IT is a big challenge in the workplace because of the different communication styles of those sending the message and those who both receive the message and control your business’ entire electronic infrastructure. This breakdown in communication is one of the topics of Richard Hlava’s new book, “How to Write Email that Gets Results and Other CEObservations.”

“The IT employee is the auto mechanic of the business world. Whenever he fixes something, he screws something else up on purpose, forcing you to drink from his arsenic-laced tech juice and killing you slowly, day in and day out,” writes Hlava, CEO of HlavCo Intl.

“How to Write Email that Gets Results and Other CEObservations” is filled with 33 chapters where Hlava shares his thoughts on writing effective email, team dismantling, living to work, who would Jesus CC: and how to deal with the IT department.

“CEObservation: Most common computer problems at work by percentage, according to the IT department, are: Networking Problem 2%, Email Client Problem 5%, Server Problem 10%, Your Problem 83%,” writes Hlava.

Read more of Hlava’s wisdom at the book’s home page (http://terrydugan.com/books/how-to-write-email-that-gets-results/) at Terry Dugan.com. “How to Write Email that Gets Results & Other CEObservations” is available for $9.99 or less at Amazon.com and http://terrydugan.com/bookstore/.
