July23, 2010 — I am writing this article in the hope that it will bring replies for my research.
My story dates back to the year’s 1949-51 in the post WWII era. I was born in the U.S. ZONE DP CAMP IN GERMANY. As a toddler of 2 years of age I got struck with Tuberculosis. I was sent by the JOINT (A.J.J.D.C.)’ American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee” to a children’s hospital by the name – IRO TBC KEMPTEN KINDERKRANKENHAUS, where I was held for one entire year. This hospital was located in the town of KEMPTEN im ALLGAU, BAVARIA, GERMANY. It was run by the I.R.O. (International Refugee Organization) a U.N. (United Nations) organization, intended for children with Tuberculosis.
As I was told by my parents, who where Holocaust Survivors, I was tortured in this hospital in various ways.
1) I was held tied down into my crib hands/feet 24/7.
2) They used metal clamps on my hands, I still have the marks as of today.
Finnaly, my father (o.b.m.) took me out of there preempted- before I was completely healed,
he kept saying to me repetedly – in the latter years – just this words……
“My son you should know that I took you out of there, i bet how many more Jewish children were left over there forever”.
My aim with this article is, to find the records of this Hospital, where this information could be found.
So, I want to ask ANYONE who knows any information about this Hospital, and who knows of any Published Book concerning:
1) this KEMPTEN CHILDRENS HOSPITAL.
2) DP CAMPS children with Tuberculosis, how they were treated.

July23, 2010 – Ich schreibe diesen Artikel in der Hoffnung, dass sie Antworten für meine Forschung zu bringen.
Meine Geschichte stammt aus dem Jahr 1949 bis 1951 in der Ära nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg. Ich war in der amerikanischen Zone DP-Lager in DEUTSCHLAND geboren. Wie ein Kleinkind von 2 Jahren traf ich mit Tuberkulose habe. Ich wurde durch das Gelenk (AJJDC) “American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee” zu einem Kinderkrankenhaus mit dem Namen – IRO TBC KEMPTEN Kinderkrankenhaus, wo ich für ein ganzes Jahr gehalten wurde gesendet. Dieses Krankenhaus wurde in der Stadt Kempten im Allgau liegt BAVARIA, DEUTSCHLAND. Es von der IRO (International Refugee Organization) eine UN (Vereinte Nationen) Organisation, für Kinder mit Tuberkulose bestimmt ausgeführt wurde.
Da wurde ich von meinen Eltern, sagte, wer, wo Holocaust-Überlebende, ich gefoltert wurde in diesem Krankenhaus in verschiedener Weise.
1) Ich fand in mein Bettchen Hande / Füße 24 / 7 gebunden.
2) Sie Metallklammern verwendet auf meinen Handen, ich habe immer noch die Marken als heute.
Finne, mein Vater (OBM) nahm mich von dort verdrangt, bevor ich war völlig geheilt,
Er sagte immer zu mir repetedly – in den letzten Jahren – gerade diese Worte ……
“Mein Sohn, sollten Sie wissen, dass ich dich da raus, ich wette, wie viele jüdische Kinder wurden dort für immer verlassen.”
Mein Ziel mit diesem Artikel ist, um die Bücher von diesem Krankenhaus, wo diese Informationen gefunden werden konnte.
Also, ich möchte jedem, der weitere Informationen über das Krankenhaus weiß, fragen, und wer weiß jeder veröffentlichten Buch über:
1) Diese KEMPTEN Childrens Hospital.
2) DP-Lagern Kinder mit Tuberkulose, wie sie behandelt wurden.
