Santa Clara, California and Kyoto, Japan, November 10, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — ROHM Semiconductor availability announced today CSL1901 series of size 0603 (0.6″ × 0.3″) / size 1608 (1.6mm × 0.8mm) LEDs optimized for low-light applications for use in displays and numeric displays in factory automation equipment (i.e. PLC ) and communication control devices such as modems and routers.
In recent years, technological advances in LED elements have resulted in dramatically improved light output – resulting in increased brightness. At the same time, the market demands LEDs that are tailored for low-current characteristics. The reason: Higher brightness makes it necessary to design for suitable luminous intensities and emission wavelengths in applications where interference with neighboring light-emitting parts has to be considered.
