Web3 Metaverse Project ZTX (ZepetoX) announced Thursday that it has partnered with Magic Eden, the largest Solana-based NFT marketplace, to launch a Genesis Home NFT sale aimed at rewarding early evangelists, community builders and while affirming his vision of building a metaverse for all.
Rather than opting for a traditional virtual land sale, ZTX will offer virtual land for free to anyone who registers and claims land on its platform. However, to reward early backers, ZTX will be running a Genesis Home NFT sale, which will offer 4,000 unique 3D rendered Home NFTs packed with in-game utility. As a home NFT owner, users will receive impetus for economic activity and wealth production on ZTX land, as well as priority access to exciting updates and features.
The sale, scheduled for December, will go live on Magic Eden, which features around 10 million unique monthly sessions and thousands of daily transactions.
ZTX is built on the Solana network and is the crypto metaverse initiative being co-incubated ZEPETO – Widely regarded as Asia’s largest Metaverse platform with over 340 million registered users – alongside leading global blockchain organizations including jump crypto.
Early August, ZTX announced plans to create an immersive 3D open world that will give developers and communities the power to build, play and monetize. With exclusive connections to ZEPETO, ZTX aims to create a metaverse that successfully engages new audiences, Web3 natives and existing Web2 users of ZEPETO.
Why Home NFTs and not Land?
With today’s Metaverse projects, the barriers to entry are high for the average person – with chunks of virtual land positioned as expensive speculative assets, making them difficult to own. This often limits users without financial resources from enjoying or contributing to the Metaverse, while deep-pocketed institutional investors and companies ultimately make up the bulk of virtual real estate.
In ZTX, land will be free, unlimited and open to all….
