(“Landmark”; Nasdaq: LARK) reported diluted earnings per share of $0.50 for the three months ended September 30, 2022, compared to $0.61 per share in the second quarter of 2022 and $0.90 per share in the same quarter last year. Net income for the third quarter of 2022 was $2.5 million, compared to $3.0 million in the prior quarter and $4.5 million for the third quarter of 2021, for the three months ended September 30 In 2022, the return on average wealth was 0.76%. The average return on equity was 8.33% and the efficiency ratio was 69.6%. The previously announced acquisition of Freedom Bancshares, Inc. closed ahead of open business on October 1, 2022 and its financial information is not included in Landmark’s third quarter results.
