model.ai, which aims to break the shackles of game development with a transformative AI engine, announced today that it has closed €8.5 million in Series A funding with lead investor Griffin Gaming Partners and M12 – the Venture Fund from Microsoft – has completed. The company received additional equity investments from Rendered.vc, PreSeed Ventures and Transistormedia.
The modl.ai AI engine is redefining game development by arming developers with a virtually unlimited army of bots that can adapt to different playstyles and employ dynamic moves and tactics. This gives developers the opportunity to increase automation and eliminate the redundancies and manual efforts that often hinder and delay the release of new games and updates by months or even years.
