Tel Aviv, Israel, October 30, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The Climate Solutions Prize, a joint initiative of JNF Canada, Start-Up Nation Central and KKL-JNF, is an annual initiative to incentivize and award more to climate innovation 2 million dollars in awards to researchers and startups that offer solutions to the global climate crisis. The initiative culminated last week at the Climate Solutions Prize Festival, a gathering of governments, companies and non-profit organizations dedicated to fostering innovation in the climate technology ecosystem.
Hundreds of guests came to the festival, which took place in the Hulda Forest in Central Israeland attended the big global summit and startup fair.
Established earlier this year, the Climate Solutions Prize is the most comprehensive initiative supporting research and innovation to address the climate crisis. The initiative works in two different ways. One of these is the Breakthrough Research Prize, which offers a grant to Israeli scientists and researchers. The other is the Startup Track, which includes a series of challenges offering investment, cash prizes and exposure to Israeli tech companies. Each Startup Challenge is led by diverse industry leaders and philanthropic partners, such as: Capital Nature, The Temasek Foundation, ESIL, Kornit Digital, SolarEdge and Merck.
