
New drone footage released by Ot Sky shows the groundbreaking ceremony for Saudi Arabia’s new named megacity structure The mirror line.
The line is part of the Neom development, an ambitious project that aims to transform Saudi Arabia’s future into a global innovation and technology leader and become less dependent on oil.
What happened: The video shows a bird’s eye view of a fleet of loaders, excavators and heavy trucks preparing a foundation for The Line in the desert for a groundbreaking ceremony.

The site also reveals an underground transportation system that is said to have an underground high-speed train that can travel from one end to the other in twenty minutes.
This horizontal city will require a moat 75 miles long to mount its two 1,600-foot mirror-like walls, which will cost about $1 trillion when completed.
The Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salmanwho is also Chairman of the NEOM Board of Directors, unveiled the designs in mid-summer with the ambitious goal of completing construction by 2030. “Neom will be a place for all people from around the world to make their mark on the world in creative and innovative ways,” said bin Salman.
This autonomous paradise will be home to up to 5 million people, powered by renewable energy and stretching to the shores of the Gulf of Aqaba.
