- St-Martin joined Lightspeed in May 2019 through the acquisition of Chronogolf, a SaaS company he co-founded in 2013, and became Lightspeed’s Senior Vice President of Global Sales in July 2020.
- Lightspeed Chief Business Officer Michael DeSimone will leave the company in late 2022. DeSimone joined Lightspeed in 2020 through an acquisition as CEO of ShopKeep.
- “Since joining us more than three years ago, JD has been an incredible leader at Lightspeed and a key player in driving our growth at a critical time,” said CEO JP Chauvet. “These changes will help further streamline our leadership team by placing accountability for the performance of each industry with the same individual responsible for our go-to-market and customer success.”
- Lightspeed has appointed Ryan Tabone as Chief Product & Technology Officer.
- Tabone came from Lightspeed alphabet inc WELL Google Google, where he was a founding member of the team that developed Chromebook and most recently as Vice President & General Manager of Google Pay and Google Finance.
- Price promotion: LSPD shares traded 2.61% lower at $17.41 on the last check Friday.
