
Turning Point Brand appoints new CEO
Turning Point Brands, Inc. TPB tapped into a longtime executive at the company Graham Purdy as CEO and Board Director following the resignation of Yavor Efremov, less than a year after his appointment.
Prior to his appointment as CEO, Purdy had been the company’s Chief Operating Officer since 2019. Since joining TPB in 2004, he has held a variety of leadership positions including President of the New Ventures Division and Senior Vice President of Sales. Purdy oversaw two of the company’s brand extensions during his tenure, Introduction of Zig-Zag Cigar Wraps and Stoker’s MST.
Additionally, David Glasek agreed Transition from non-executive to CEO, eJanuary 2023, the Louisville, Kentucky-based company announced on Monday.
“Graham is a highly experienced operator who has been instrumental in the success of Turning Point,” said Glazek. “His in-depth knowledge of the company’s business and industry makes him ideally suited to lead TPB today. We rely on his ability to oversee Turning Point’s brand strategy and sharpen the company’s operational focus.”
Fire & Flower’s CFO resigns
