
Oscar-winning actor Anthony HopkinsThe first non-fungible token (NFT) art collection sold out in seven minutes on the OpenSea marketplace.
That collection justified “The Eternal Collection” is a series of more than 1,000 artworks inspired by Hopkins’ career in Hollywood.
The NFT Collection is a rich and intimate exploration of the many facets of Hopkins’ artistic virtuosity.
According to OpenSea, the artworks, named “The Eternal,” “The Jester,” and “The Lover,” conceptualize the powerful character archetypes that Hopkins has portrayed throughout his illustrious film career.
The digital NFT series will also feature an exclusive, one-time event for collectors to engage with one of Hollywood’s greatest icons.
Last year, Hopkins starred in the 2021 thriller Zero Contact, which released to mixed reviews via NFT platform Vuele.

In recent years, many Hollywood actors have joined and benefited from the NFT marketplace.
Last week Hollywood actors Scott Eastwood turned to the world of NFTs with a partnership with pastel network.
Eastwood will launch his ether ETH/USD-based NFTs using Pastel’s SmartMint tool. Three monthly NFT drops occur in October, November, and December.
Recently rappers Snoop Dogg and Food Fighters Universe announced Introducing an “immersive retail dessert experience” inspired by a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT.
earlier this year, Madonna collaborated with well-known NFT artists beep to start an NFT collection with three videos. In March she bought her own Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT.
