The second most valued cryptocurrency, ether ETH/USDwas also trading higher on Friday, above the $1,300 key level.
Other popular crypto coins including Solana SOL/USD, XRP XRP/USD and Dogecoins DOGE/USDwas also trading higher this morning.
ether name service ENS/USD was the top gainer in the last 24 hours while Klaytn KLAY/USD turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap has risen to $940.82 billion for a 24-hour gain of 3.2%. BTC traded about 3.8% higher to $19,796, while ETH was up about 3.2% to $1,326.72 on Friday.
Investors are now awaiting the earnings results of JPMorgan Chase & Co. JPM, MorganStanley MRS, Wells Fargo & Company WFCand Citigroup Inc. Cshould be published today.
