- Southwest Airlines Co LUV said its Aircraft Appearance Technicians, represented by the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA), voted for a new five-year contract.
- The company’s 170 field technicians help provide safe, secure, clean and reliable aircraft for customers and employees.
- The ratified treaty is effective immediately and is subject to change on July 31, 2027.

- “This contract rewards our Appearance technicians with immediate and future pay increases while supporting Southwest’s cost-competitive position in the US aerospace industry,” said Adam Carlisle, Southwest’s vice president of labor relations.
