
apple inc‘s AAPL fourth generation iPhone SE will reportedly feature a 6.1-inch LCD display and a “notch” cutout on the screen.
What happened: Based on information from Ross Young, an analyst at Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), the next-gen iPhone SE will have a 6.1-inch display with a notch, according to a report at MacRumors.
It is still known if the iPhone SE notch will feature a TrueDepth camera array to support Face ID like other iPhone models.

The report, citing rumors, said the iPhone SE may not feature Face ID but will likely stick with Touch ID like the earlier models to save money.
The report doesn’t mention the size of the fourth-gen iPhone SE’s notch. But it says it could likely be narrower than the iPhone XR if the phone doesn’t include components like a dot projector for Face ID, since Touch ID is available.
According to a number of reports including information from MyDrivers and Apple analysts Ming Chi Kuoa Touch ID side button, similar to that found on the iPad Air and iPad mini, is reportedly being added to the iPhone SE by Apple.
The iPhone SE3 is available for $429. The iPhone SE series is the entry-level lineup from the Cupertino-based tech giant and is considered the most affordable iPhone, another MacRumors report said.
