donald trump took to his social media platform on Friday truth social to launch a devastating attack on Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY).
What happened: “Approve McConnell of all this Bills worth trillions of dollars sponsored by Democrats, without even the slightest negotiation because he hates Donald J. Trump,” the former president asked his supporters.
Trump went on to ask whether McConnell approved the bill because he believed in the “bogus and highly destructive” Green New Deal and was “ready to take the country with it.”
Any of the reasons are unacceptable, he added.
“He has a DEATH WISH,” Trump said.
In a stoop, he made a racist remark against McConnell’s wife Elaine Chao.
“Must immediately seek help and advice from his China-loving wife, Coco Chow!” he said.

Trump’s comments drew the ire of many, who took to Twitter to condemn them.
Bill Kristol, director of Defending Democracy Together, said: “It’s embarrassing that Donald Trump was ever our president. It’s embarrassing that so many still support him and that so many others in his party cower before him.”
Why it matters: The 2022 Anti-Inflation Bill, passed in August, came into play amid bipartisan support, with Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) arranging a deal with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).
Trump previously berated Senate minority leader McConnell and Manchin for being instrumental in passing the climate bill, accusing the former of being framed by the latter, according to Business Insider.
The former president’s criticism comes shortly after McConnell pledged his support for the bipartisan Electoral Count Act, which would make it difficult to challenge state-certified election results.
