As contractors and equipment operators know, power challenges and issues are the leading cause of lost productivity and downtime, resulting in increased direct costs on construction sites across the country.
The SC1000 Relevation frees customers from the power constraints on their job sites, allowing them to work regardless of power issues or on-site challenges, including:
- No on-site power supply available, therefore a rental generator/compressor is required to power a swing stage
- No connection to on-site power supply, electrician and delay required
- Low voltage and fluctuating power supply, resulting in hoist overheating, intermittent operation and loss of productivity
- Troubleshooting visits to a construction site or delivery of step-up transformers
- Damaged power cords and time lost winding and storing between shifts
Based on the proven Spider SC1000 aerial platform, the SC1000 Relevation features a portable, rechargeable lithium-ion battery with enough power for three hours of total travel time (up and down combined) with a rated capacity of 1000lb. A 5 amp wall charger recharges the battery to full capacity in less than eight hours. The battery is IP-64 rated and has been tested and approved to operate in temperatures from -4 to 140°F (-20 to 60°C).
