
According to Whale Alert data, on ether ETH/USD Wal transferred about 100,000 ETH worth about $145.62 million from one anonymous wallet to another.
Whale Alert reports that the tokens were moved on September 16th, a day later ether passed to a proof-of-stake network.

Recently, market research firm Santiment mentioned that the leading smart contract platform’s Network Value to Transaction (NVT) metric is at its best in 16 months.

It was also mentioned that the top whale addresses had sent a significant amount of ETH to the exchange over the past three months.

Non-Exchange addresses are down 11%, while Exchange-based addresses are up 78%.
Earlier last week, Ethereum exchange balance hit 21.96 million, its highest level in five months.
Also, an anonymous cryptocurrency wallet with Ethereum worth $69,500,418 transfer his funds on Binance in the previous week. Unusually large cryptocurrency transfers from wallets to exchanges are typically a bearish signal.
At the time of writing, ETH is trading at $1430.91, down almost 19% over the past seven days.
