The Sisters of the Valleycame up with a special CBD formula only for pets. The sisters removed from their formula the blood orange essential oil used to flavor their people’s tonics (since some pets are allergic), leaving a Coconut base with CBD, CBDa, CBG and CBGa, extracted from the hemp plant. Essentially, the sisters combined that raw plant medicine which helps fight infection and promote overall health with the cooked CBD which is better known for its pain-relieving effects.
The product is sold in 1 ounce and 2 ounce bottles and the lab tests are readily available on the web store proving that the product is clean and green and confirming the effectiveness.
The animal oil made by the sisters contains:
This is a non-psychotropic product and while THC is present in the formula, it is well below the 0.3% required for it to be unregulated and considered “hemp” by law.
All pet portion sizes are different and the sisters recommend that you consult your veterinarian.
“More and more veterinarians are carrying CBD themselves.” sister Kate. “And if you assume that ½ teaspoon is a starting dose (as an example) then that equates to roughly 17 mg CBD, 7 mg CBDGa and 6 mg CBDa per dose, a nearly one to one ratio of raw and cooked compounds and that is what we believe to be a well-rounded supplement for health and pain relief. The combination of the raw and cooked cannabis compounds allows people and their pets to receive a “fuller dose” of plant medicine than is found in most commonly available CBD products. Our human equivalent of this pet formula is the CBD Plus products.”
The sisters also have a wholesale portal in their store for veterinarians and other animal caretakers looking to buy in bulk at a discount for resale.
