The second most valued cryptocurrency, ether ETH/USDwas meanwhile traded slightly lower but remained above the $1,700 level before the merger.
Solana SOL/USD also posted strong gains during Tuesday’s trading.
Raven Coin RVN/USD was the top gainer in the last 24 hours while Terra classic LUNC/USD turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap has risen to $1.07 trillion, up 0.4% in 24 hours. BTC traded about 2.2% higher to $22,364 while ETH fell about 1.9% to $1,707 on Tuesday.
Investors are now awaiting the earnings results of Core & Main, Inc. CNM and InnovAge Holding Corp. INVshould be published today.
