MONTREAL, Sept. 8, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — CN CNR CRF announced today that Michel Letellier has been appointed to CN’s Board of Directors following a rigorous search process. Mr. Letellier will join the Board on October 1, 2022.
Mr. Letellier, 58, is President and Chief Executive Officer of Montreal-based Innergex Renewable Energy Inc., one of Canada’s largest independent renewable energy producers with operations in Canada, the United States, France and Chile. Mr. Letellier has extensive business experience in North America and has been a driving force in the renewable energy industry since 1997 with Innergex and since 2007 as President and Chief Executive Officer. Previously, Mr. Letellier was responsible for the development and operations of hydroelectric projects for Boralex Inc. Mr. Letellier is an experienced director having served on public and private boards since 2012.
Mr. Letellier sets a good example when it comes to sustainability. As CEO of Innergex, he has implemented a business model that balances people, environment and prosperity. Its integrated approach has created partnerships that allow communities to own up to 50% of the renewable energy infrastructure installed by this company.
