
Psychedelics research and development company Pharma mindset MSTF has filed no fewer than 16 national applications, including countries within the main Southeast Asian marketsfor one of its most important families of next-generation psychedelic compounds.
The company recently announced this Foundation of three more families (6, 7 and 8) of non-tryptamine psychedelic compounds. New patent applications include “Family 1” drug candidates composed of second-generation psilocybin analogs.
According to MindsetThe family 1 compounds have the potential of Improvement in size, security and manufacturing compared to psilocin and psilocybin. The group includes the first-selected clinical and lead drug candidates MSP-1014a psilocybin-like substance that has shown safety, improved efficacy and reduced potential side effects compared to first-generation psilocybin in preclinical studies and is scheduled to enter clinical trials in 2023.
In addition, the company IP portfolio strategy recently filed a provisional application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) applying a novel family 1 chemical structure strategy.
