Chatsworth Pavilion drug rehab center helps people suffering from binge drinking and alcohol dependency overcome their faulty perceptions.
Los Angeles, CA(news)–Over the past several years the media has reported story after story referring to Lindsay Lohan’s erratic behavior, late night partying, sexual conquests, binge drinking, and drug abuse. Lindsay Lohan, a known Hollywood wild child, finally admitted her cocaine abuse, alcohol dependence, and the use of other mind-altering substances to FoxNews in late February.
According to the news report the 23 year-old Hollywood starlet claims she was near suicide because of her alcohol and cocaine abuse. Lohan is a perfect example of how addictions to alcohol and drugs cause serious consequences and leaves the suffering addict with cloudy judgment and faulty perceptions. Lohan has reportedly visited three drug and alcohol treatment centers by the young age of twenty-three. She was arrested in 2007 for DUI (driving under the influence) and possession of cocaine. FoxNews quoted the young woman, “I had three drinks, at most. I’ve been stupid and childish and I wasn’t thinking.” Possession of cocaine and driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs seems to be a lot more than “childish” behavior.
The admitted addict revealed she seems to have learned her lesson with drugs but is allowed to continue to consume alcohol. Addiction to alcohol and drugs is classified as a mental obsession of the mind that may or may not be coupled with a physical dependency of the body. The reality is once a person is buying illegal drugs, using drugs, and is suffering legal consequences like DUI arrests and drug possession charges they have crossed the line. They can no longer drink any amount of alcohol in safety because it will eventually lead back to their drug abuse.
