ANIMATION DAYS FROM AUGUST 2 TO 4, 2022
MONTREAL, Aug. 01, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Conseil Québécois du loisirs (CQL) and partners in the DAFA program are mobilizing during Animation Days, taking place August 2-4, to highlight the indispensable role of Animators working in the various leisure circles, including summer camps. It’s also under the theme Essential Animators that the event was started at the beginning of the season. Given the labor shortage in this sector, this event takes on a role that is more important than ever: recognizing and promoting the importance of the role of animator. trice and its impact on the quality of life of young people and families.
Throughout the summer season, the CQL and the partners of the DAFA program invited colleagues, young people and parents to thank their animators virtual wall. Children could also create a coloring page to highlight the exceptional qualities of those who work to provide them with safe, fun, quality entertainment during the summer. From August 2-4, the CQL and DAFA program partners will be broadcasting content on social media aimed at paying tribute to these thousands of mobilized young people. Several voices will join the movement, in particular Mrs. Isabelle Charest, Minister of Education and Minister responsible for the status of women.
