‘Game Change’ Publisher Skewered for Kindle Delay in Face of Book Scarcities
January 18, 2010 /EIN PRESSWIRE/ Fans of the popular Kindle device from Amazon.com are being vocal against “Game Change” publisher HarperCollins for delaying the launch of the book in the Kindle digital format, despite the book’s sell-out status on bookstore shelves.
The book, which focuses on the 2008 U.S. presidential election, won’t be available on the e-reader until Feb. 23, and is out of stock in many locations. Despite the growing popularity of the e-reader Kindle, Amazon.com is missing out on myriad sales.
