Dr Kim Chronister is arguably one of the most influential therapists on social media of the decade. The Los Angeles based psychologist has enjoyed massive success thanks to viral videos on TikTok. Dr Chronister is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and was recently named No. 2 on the “10 TikTok Accounts You Should be Following.” She was one of the first rapidly growing therapists to create videos on the TikTok platform. So far, she has gained hundreds of thousands of followers and millions of views on videos such as “Signs that Someone is Lying to You” and “Psychology of Having a Crush.”
For Dr Chronister, TikTok has led to an influx of requests for life coaching, a spike in demand for her digital products, as well as a high demand for her recently released podcast. “My TikTok followers actually requested that I write a book about how to get over breakups, so I wrote Breakup Recovery: Get Your Ex Back or Get Over Them for Good. Then they requested a podcast, so I decided to produce Love to Heal with Dr Kim.” Although much of her content involves her speaking, she also uses music from independent artists on her TikToks that translate into tens of thousands of views every month. Dr Chronister’s podcast Love to Heal with Dr Kim features guests like LA-based actors, attorneys, athletes, and singers where they discuss topics like the psychology of motivation, relationship attachment styles, breakup recovery, cognitive conditioning, and healing from life transitions.
