Defying Gravity, LLC is proud to announce the launch of their new woman’s growth program beginning on September 18, 2011. The group will meet every Sunday night in S. Boulder for a women’s personal development seminar and conclude with a full-day retreat on November 5, 2011. The organization will hold two preview sessions for the Defying Gravity Seminar on August 25, 2011 in Arvada, CO and August 27, 2011 in Boulder, CO.
Julia Munson, LCSW and Stephanie Collins, CPCC founded Defying Gravity, LLC in an effort to form a community of women who wish to get the most out of life. Defying Gravity is about forming relationships through women’s transformational seminars and making a difference in the community.
“More than ever in this hectic world, women need connection, support and accountability to design and carry out the lives that they aim to have. The Defying Gravity Women’s Seminar allows participates to give to each other, to themselves, as well as give back to community” said Stephanie Collins, co-founder of Defying Gravity.
The mission of Defying Gravity is to inspire women, to uncover the genius inside, and to form connections with other women through interactive workshops, fellowship, and coaching. Defying Gravity is built on the principles that love, laughter and having a purpose in life can make magic happen in women’s lives.
Women desire connection, accountability, and authenticity with each other. The Defying Gravity Women’s Seminar will consist of group discussions, experiential learning, community service, and one-on-one time with a chosen accountability partner. Your “flight coaches”, Stephanie Collins and Julia Munson will share with you activities that are the culmination of 45 combined years of coaching and service to women.
Come join us for 8 weeks of combined support and vision as we work together to defy the things that hold us down. We will focus on loving others and loving ourselves. You will learn the basics of accepting who you are and what you have been given, and learn to make friends with your body. We will defy gravity by getting rid of misconceptions, and the lies that women tell themselves that tend to keep them down instead of soaring as eagles. This program is about service to self and service to others. Come join Defying Gravity and experience the life you have always dreamed of living.
