I definitely think extreme weather forecasting needs to be improved, especially Florida’s hurricane season forecasting. Every year is dubbed “The Worst Season Yet” for Florida–but year after year–after millions of Floridians spent hundreds of dollars to stock up on supplies, no hurricanes arrive at our doorstep (thank goodness). Many people could be saving more of their personal money if forecasting was improved.
