San Antonio, TX – Pastor Kurt Hudspeth launches Four Winds Bible Church of San Antonio on November 7, 2010 at the Shrine Auditorium featuring Contemporary Christian Music artists DownHere and Chris Sligh.
DownHere, a popular CCM band that is on tour across the country, will perform during the special first service on Sunday morning at 11:00 am, and will return with Chris Sligh of American Idol fame for an evening concert at 6:30 pm. Tickets for the evening concert are $9 in advance or $12 at the door.
The new San Antonio church, which has been in planning stages for many years, is expected to attract thousands to the Shrine Auditorium at 11:00 am every Sunday. Pastor Hudspeth, who has been marrying couples in San Antonio for over a decade, is excited to join forces with Executive Pastor Jay Maresh to create a church experience that is Bible-centered and worship-focused for San Antonio believers.
While maintaining strong traditional values and evangelical core beliefs in the triune God of the Bible, Pastor Hudspeth is also passionate about the end times and the relevance of Bible prophecy to the here and now. He says his goal is to make the Bible relevant to today’s church.
“I believe with all my heart that Jerusalem is God’s timepiece, and that the events we are seeing play out in Iran and Iraq can be found directly in the pages of scripture. I’m convinced God’s Word will blow people away when they really see what’s happening.”
