London-based Xiroverse has announced the launch of the “Xiro App”, which comprises a range of games on their gaming hub. All the excitement of mobile gaming without the complications or upfront expenses of Web3. Web3 is now available with a one-step onboarding process, zero gas costs and Proof of Game protocol.
The aim is to solve pain points
The current Web3 ecosystem is fraught with complexity, costs and vulnerabilities. Users need to register a centralized exchange account with Coinbase or Binance first, then buy cryptocurrencies like Ethereum or Solana, install a cryptocurrency wallet like Metamask, transfer tokens, pay gas bills, and so on. This procedure can take many hours and cost hundreds of dollars. To make Web3 more accessible to users, Xiroverse engineers and the company spent seven months researching, developing and testing the app. They discovered a technique that makes it as easy as opening a consumer social network account with no upfront fees. The sole aim of the Xiro App is to make Web3 as user friendly as possible by effectively turning the 6-8 step process into a 1 step process. The app offers non-fungible and fungible tokens, an in-app marketplace, an in-app crypto wallet, log-based token mining tools, and hundreds of games in their gaming hub.
The full specs, features, and plans for the Xiro App and its larger Xiroverse ecosystem are still unknown.
