BEIJING, November 10, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The signing ceremony for the Shanghai Trading Group’s Large Retail Buyer Alliance sourcing and thematic forum during the fifth China International Import Expo (CIIE) kicked off Tuesday in the east of China shanghai.
A total of 33 Shanghai partner companies of the Large Retail Purchaser Alliance, including Bailian Group, Bright Food Group and Carrefour, signed procurement agreements with global exhibitors and brands.
It is noted that Bailian Group, a state-owned distribution company, has signed a total of 23 cooperation agreements worth $164 million during this year’s event, an increase of more than 6 percent year-on-year, introducing more foreign brands, products and technologies to Chinese consumers.
In addition to procurement transactions, the booth of Best-Links, a subsidiary of the Bailian Group based in of China Hong Kongmade a glamorous appearance at the CIIE’s consumer goods exhibition area to explore the relationship between city, nature, commerce and people.
Bailian Group will have more exchanges with the world by actively participating in the CIIE, reflecting on the integration of arts, culture, tourism and business, and contributing to the construction of shanghai as an international consumption center, said Ye Yongming, chairman of Bailian Group.
