CALGARY, AB, November 10, 2022 /CNW/ – E3 LITHIUM LTD. ETL AU EEMMF, Alberta Leading lithium developer and extraction technology innovator, is pleased to announce assay results from its first well showing lithium concentrations in an area of the Leduc Aquifer that has never been previously tested. Based on five zone brine samples, P501 Lithium concentration from the first drill hole of E3 Lithium (E3). 76.5mg/l.
This well is the first of three wells developed to understand the aquifer’s production characteristics and lithium concentrations in a previously untested area. This well was completed near the center of the Clearwater project area and is a suitable location for E3’s initial commercial operation. E3 collected brine samples from five separate intervals to provide a vertical perspective of lithium concentrations over the 200 meters of recoverable aquifers in this area as shown in Figure 1. A production test was also performed as described in an October 27, 2022 press release.
Lithium concentrations from E3’s first drill hole are slightly higher than other parts of the aquifer with historical assay results ranging from 74 mg/L to 78 mg/L. Most importantly, the results demonstrate a consistent and continuous concentration of lithium throughout the Leduc Aquifer, which is fundamental to commercial operations.
“This historic fountain, the first of its kind in alberta drilled for lithium assessment showing constant lithium concentrations…
