The event celebrated the 30th anniversary of BGCC South Los Angeles and was attended by numerous dignitaries including City of Carson mayor Lula Davis Holmes; carson Mayor Pro-Tem Javan Hilton; Carson Councilor Jim Dear; President and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of America Jim Clark; Kim Richards, BGCC CEO; LA Unified School District South Superintendent Michael Romero; Long Beach City Council Member, Al Austin II; Representatives from corporate partners and presenting sponsors Mattel, Marathon, Carson Companies and Watson Land Company and many more.
