E-Space authorized to provide space-based services throughout the Kingdom
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, November 9, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — (Connecting the World from the Skies Conference) — E rooma global space company focused on connecting Earth and space with the world’s most sustainable LEO (Low Earth Orbit) network, announced today that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) has now listed E-Space in its new satellite register for UK land communications traffic. This is a critical move that will enable E-Space to deploy its innovative, space-based, intelligent Internet of Things (Smart-IoT) solutions in a key economy in the United States middle East.
The Kingdom recently revised its non-terrestrial network (NTN) regulatory framework, which includes the promotion and entry of global satellite operators. In line with its new national spectrum strategy and the Saudi Vision 2030, the CST will grant landing/operating rights to satellite operators that meet specific requirements, from providing innovative satellite-based solutions to efficiently using the spectrum to offer unique services in the Kingdom.
