(“we”, “Saputo” or “the Company”) (TSX: SAP) announces today that it is undertaking new consolidation projects aimed at increasing the efficiency of its operations and enhancing its competitiveness through Australia. These initiatives, which form part of the “Optimize and Improve Operations” pillar of the company’s global strategic plan, include the intention to proceed with the permanent closure of the Maffra, Victoria facility. Additionally, the sites will remain operational, but the company will streamline operations at its plants in Leongatha, Victoria, and Mil-Lel, South Australia.
