ZT Systems turns to Gafcon Digital for digital twin development
SAN DIEGO, California., November 1, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Gafcon Digital announced today that it is working with ZT Systems, a global leader in the design and manufacture of hyperscale cloud computing, to develop a digital twin for its manufacturing facilities. The digital twin will enable constant monitoring of ZT Systems’ manufacturing environment and ensure the quality of its server solutions for hyperscale cloud computing.
“Ensuring consistent and repeatable quality in our manufacturing environments is a priority for our customers and employees. A digital twin will give us real-time insights into factory conditions and help us deliver error-free solutions,” he said Tony Colonna, ZT Systems Director of Supply Chain Strategy and Transformation. He continued, “We pride ourselves on maintaining quality manufacturing facilities to ensure on-time deliveries and partnering with Gafcon Digital as an innovative extension of our team will help us continue this commitment to excellence.”
Gafcon Digital, system integrator for digital twins, will integrate data from numerous environmental sensors in the factories to track temperature, humidity, air quality and dust particles. This allows ZT Systems to constantly monitor the production environment and ensure the quality of its server solutions.
“This project is a great opportunity to highlight how much value a digital twin can bring to the manufacturing environment. As technologies for tracking and monitoring changes in the environment proliferate, the amount of information fed to operations managers is overwhelming. A digital twin not only compiles all of these data inputs, but also correlates them to ensure the factory as a whole maintains its quality. We are excited to partner with ZT Systems to build the digital factory twin,” said Gafcon Digital Vice President Sean Olcott.
