((DNP,TYO:7912) has received SIAA certification from the Society of International Sustaining Growth for Antimicrobial Articles (SIAA) for an antibacterial and antiviral anti-glare film designed for laptops, monitors and television screens. The newly certified product will be available from October 31st.

Anti-glare film is an optical film used on the top layer of a display to reduce glare from lighting and external light and make the screen easier to see. DNP holds the largest market share worldwide1 for surface-treated foils for displays.
By adding SIAA certified anti-glare film to our product range, we will be able to offer consumers a safer, more hygienic and more comfortable environment.

1. SIAA certified antibacterial and antiviral performance
The newly developed anti-glare film conforms to ISO22196 and antiviral properties according to ISO21702, and has also obtained SIAA certification. It retains the ability to reduce bacteria and viruses by 99% or more after 24 hours compared to currently available products that have not been treated in this way.
2. Adding antibacterial and antiviral capabilities to the capabilities of currently available anti-glare films
DNP’s new anti-glare film can be used by manufacturers developing panels for various applications such as PCs, monitors and televisions without the need to change specifications.
