US stock futures traded mostly lower in early premarket trading on Wednesday following earnings results alphabet inc Google and Microsoft Corporation MSFT. The Dow Jones rose more than 300 points on Tuesday, while the Nasdaq gained over 2.1%.
International trade in goods data for September will be released at 8:30 am ET. The US trade deficit is expected to widen to $87.8 billion in September after narrowing to $87.3 billion in August. Wholesale inventory data for September will be released at 8:30am ET. Analysts expect wholesale inventories to rise 1.1% in September’s advance report, compared to a 1.3% rise in August. September new home sales data will be released at 10:00 am ET.
Investors await earnings results from The Boeing Company B.A, Meta Platforms, Inc. META, Ford Motor Company fand General Dynamics Corporation DG.

Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 24 points to 31,901.00, while futures on the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index fell 19.50 points to 3,850.75. Futures for the Nasdaq index fell 163 points to 11,550.50.

oil prices Traded slightly higher as Brent crude futures rose 0.1% to $91.82 a barrel, while US WTI crude futures rose 0.5% to $85.71 a barrel. The American Petroleum Institute said Tuesday that US crude oil inventories rose 4.5 million barrels in the week ended October 21. The Energy Information Administration’s weekly report on US petroleum stocks is released at 10:30 am ET.
Gold futures were up 1.3% to $1,679.10 an ounce, while silver traded up 2.1% to $19.755 an ounce on Wednesday.
