Multiple extensive studies show that UV Angel Clean Air™ devices are an effective solution for healthcare facilities to protect frontline workers, patients and families
UV angela Michigan-based leader in disinfection technology that harnesses the power of ultraviolet light technology (UVGI), advanced optical engineering and a unique digital software platform, today announced the results of an advanced aerosolized SARS-CoV2 study demonstrating this UV angel Clean air™ units were effective in destroying 99.9 percent of the virus that causes COVID-19 disease. The results of this study were provided by an independent BSL-3 laboratory qualified to test for aerosolized SARS-CoV2 virus and its associated variants. UV Angel tests its air products with real aerosolized (airborne) viruses, unlike other technologies that only test on surfaces.
To complete the compelling results, in an additional environmental study at a leading US hospital, UV Angel Clean Air™ units were installed in a high-risk ICU, where measured airborne bacteria in patient rooms and the nursing ward fell by a dramatic 91 percent. Test results also showed that by purifying the air, UV-Angel Upper Room UVGI air technology reduced bacterial contamination on settled surfaces in patient rooms by an average of 68 percent without adding additional sanitizing chemicals to the environment. This is an important finding as bacteria on colonized surfaces often re-enter the environment as a result of normal patient care.
“It is important to note that UV Angel was not formed because of COVID-19. UV Angel was founded almost a decade ago, backed by years of extensive research, with a unique mission to make the world a safer place. Through innovation in automating disinfection technologies, UV Angel works to protect medical workers, frontline staff, patients and families by helping to reduce healthcare-related infections”,…
