
US stocks were mixed trading this morning, with the Dow Jones up around 200 points on Monday.
After Monday’s market open, the Dow rose 0.66% to 31,286.16, while the NASDAQ fell 0.93% to 10,759.13. The S&P 500 was also up 0.10% to 3,756.64.

Leading and lagging sectors
Healthcare stocks rose 1.2% on Monday. lead the sector was power out Vacyte, Inc. PCVX and Myovant Sciences Ltd. MYOV.
In Monday’s trading, consumer discretionary stocks fell 0.8%.

The S&P global manufacturing PMI fell to 49.9 in October from 52 in September, down from the market estimate of 51. The US services PMI fell to 46.6 in October from 49.3 in the previous month.
Stock trading UP
- Vacyte, Inc. PCVX Shares soared 70% to $35.00 after the company announced positive top-line results from the Phase 1/2 proof-of-concept clinical trial evaluating the safety, tolerability and immunogenicity of VAX-24 would have.
- shares of Enservco Corporation ENSV got a boost and shot up 20% to $2.43. The company reported earnings for the first quarter last week.
- Scholastic Corporation CLOSE Shares were also higher, up 15% to $38.68 after the company announced a buyback of up to $75 million through a modified Dutch Auction bid.
Stocks are trading down
- Tricida, Inc. TCDA Shares fell 94% to $0.6115 after the company announced that its VALOR-CKD trial failed to meet its primary endpoint.
- shares of Huadi International Group Co.,Ltd. HUDI was down 36% at $37.68 after rising over 89% on Friday.
- Missfresh Limited MF was down, falling 33% to $1.67 after gaining around 58% on Friday.
