Last month, Tesla Inc TSLA Tesla Charging Twitter account. divided that the company would soon let customers vote on where new Superchargers would be built, and would also allow new site suggestions.
Over a month later, the site is now live and customers are happy to add their contributions. The Company has nearly 200 preselected locations for customers to vote, with Big Bear Lake, California, currently leading with 1,980 votes and Ma On Shan, Hong Kong, trailing behind with 48 votes.

If none of the suggested locations are near you, Tesla also allows people to enter suggestions for new Supercharger locations.
They ask for your reasoning including “need to get to my destination”. These suggestions can then be included in the next Supercharger voting cycle. The time from the vote until the Supercharger opens is unknown, but it may take a while for Tesla to fill out all the requests.
