Humanigen is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on preventing and treating an overreaction of the immune system called “cytokine storm,” a physiological response in which the immune system suddenly causes an uncontrolled and excessive release of pro-inflammatory signaling molecules called cytokines Release in large quantities can lead to multisystem organ failure and death.
